About our place
"Beauty will save the world"
Our agriturismo "Cascina Cipressa" is situated on one of the lush Tuscan hills against the backdrop of the spectacular Apennines. A small corner of paradise in an area of 22 hectares (54 acres) that will offer a peaceful and relaxing stay, so rare in today’s society. Located on the top of Mont’alto hill Cascina Cipressa is not only a holiday farm, but also a company producing I.G.T. wine, extra-virgin olive oil and jams. We offer to our customers selected wines made from a hectare (2,5 acres) of Sangiovese grape and a hectare of Merlot grape. They grow in our hills overseeing the valley of the Arno river which connects Florence to Pisa. Tyrrhenian sea can be seen in а clear day from the vineyard.

About our restaurant
"The secret ingredient is always love"
Our Tuscan cuisine melts organic food with traditional recipes. Our philosophy is to serve typical and traditional dishes of the region. We mainly use our own grown products such as vegetables, extra virgin olive oil, wine, fruit, chestnuts or products from local farms. This way we can treat you with a delicious Tuscan culinary experience! Wine tasting in our restaurant gives you the chance to learn the history behind the production of each bottle of wine, from the time of the pruning to the vendemmia or harvest, through to the fermentation and aging.

We look forward to welcoming you in one of the romantic rooms with simple and elegant furnishings, which can accommodate 2-3 people. One family room sleeps 4. Style of the Cascina Cipressa`s interior is based on the Tuscan villas in Italy from the 1700s. All 10 rooms are upstairs and have typical Tuscan ceilings of terracotta and wooden beams and an ensuite bathroom. Traditionally Tuscan shades are warm, fabrics made of natural materials, like cotton or linen. The balance of mixed palette hues incorporates old-world European charm while staying on top of the contemporary trends.
